Loxley Court, Sheffield
Goldwing Developments were awarded the contract to construct a Flood Defence Scheme for the Guinness Northern Counties Housing Association at their Loxley Court properties in Hillsborough, Sheffield. The sheltered-accommodation buildings on site were badly affected by the infamous Sheffield floods of 2007. The works involved the construction of a flood protection wall over 100 meters long, together with drainage improvements to the site.
