Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Goldwing Developments Ltd have been awarded the contract to construct a new visitor centre at the Manor Lodge and Manor castle site on Manor Lane, Sheffield for Green Estate Ltd.

The visitor centre will contain a local history room and teaching space, together with a café and other facilities to compliment the historic site. The area is the site of many historic buildings and a scheduled ancient monument which are all looked after by Green Estate Ltd.

The project is due for completion in January 2009. Further updates will follow.

Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Goldwing Developments Ltd have been appointed by local architects Butterworth Architecture to construct a new house in the outskirts of Sheffield. The house includes many environmental features such as a green roof, solar panels and timber panels to the upper ground floor, highly insulated with Warmcell insulation which is made from recycled paper.

Foundation works commenced in early April, with an overall project completion scheduled for October 2008.

 
Chimney Building

Kelham Island, Sheffield

Goldwing have recently been contracted by Mansell Construction Services Ltd to carry out the refurbishment of the listed chimney house building in the Kelham Island district of Sheffield.The building, which features a massive brick chimney soaring high above all neighboring buildings, is to be refurbished to form a work / live apartment.

St. Mary the Virgin Church, Beighton

Goldwing have been appointed by the Parochial Church Council to carry out the refurbishment and remodelling of St. Mary the Virgin Church in Beighton, Sheffield. The works which include a new level access floor, kitchen & toilet facilities, have been designed by local architects Elden Minns.

Beighton Life-Style Centre

Works are nearing completion on the new life-style centre in Beighton, Sheffield. The project, which has been developed by the Beighton Villages Development Trust, aims to provide the Beighton area with a wide range of complimentary and alternative therapies in its suite of treatment rooms.
